About TownDumps

TownDumps is a small directory of town transfer stations and dumps. The goal is one clear page per town so you do not have to dig through scattered PDFs and department pages when you need hours, stickers, or a tire fee.

Sources

Every fact on a town page comes from that town's official website, an official PDF linked from the town site, or a Rhode Island Resource Recovery (RIRRC) town summary used only as supporting detail. Each town page lists its source links and a last-verified date.

If a number could not be verified in the same session the page was written, it is omitted or labeled so you can check with the town. We do not invent fees, invent reviews, or copy prices from secondary blogs.

What each town page includes

  • Hours
  • Resident sticker or permit price and where to buy it
  • Per-item fees (tires, appliances, mattresses, and similar)
  • Hazardous waste guidance (often Eco-Depot)
  • Holiday closure notes when published
  • Who can use the facility
  • Source links and last-verified date

Coverage plan

Phase one is Rhode Island towns with clear official transfer-station data. Later phases may add more New England towns, then related directories such as public boat ramps and pumpouts, and EV charging stops, using the same page pattern.

Corrections

Towns change fees and hours. If you spot a mismatch with the current official page, trust the town, and treat our last-verified date as the checkpoint.
