Who can use it
Eastham residents with a Transfer Station sticker, or visitors paying the no-sticker entry fee. Commercial stickers require Health Department hauler registration.
Hours
- 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday through Wednesday; closed Thursdays
- Fridays (summer only): open starting July 3 through September 11 per 2026-2027 brochure (town Transfer Station Information page also lists July 11 through September 5; confirm current summer Friday window before you go)
- Swap Shop: Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Required: Yes
Price: 1st residential sticker $140; 2nd residential sticker $35; additional residential sticker $140; commercial sticker $150. No-sticker entry fee $10 per visit (includes recycling and up to three 32-gallon trash bags).
Where to buy: Recreation & Beach Sticker Office, 555 Old Orchard Road (across from DPW). In-person hours Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; closed weekends and holidays. Bring completed application, vehicle registration(s), and cash, check, or credit card (credit cards add finance fees).
Notes: Separate households in the same dwelling (duplex/apartment) each need their own residential sticker. Call before visiting for leases, company vehicles, or trust property.

Hazardous waste
Not a drop-in HHW facility. Eastham and Orleans host reciprocal Barnstable County Cooperative Extension collections (Eastham event was May 16; Orleans Sept 19, 9 a.m. to noon at 40 Giddiah Hill Road). Holiday closures
Closed Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Easter Sunday, and Patriots Day (per 2026-2027 brochure).
Other notes
- Transfer Station does not accept credit cards at the gate; cash and check only per Solid Waste Division page. Sticker Office does accept credit cards with finance fees.
- Food waste composting accepted at the Transfer Station (no meat/bones, pet waste, bags, or trash).
- Yard waste recycling list covers grass, leaves, and Christmas trees; no brush, vines, stumps, or large timbers in that free stream.
